Rocco Calaci

Rocco’s motto was “Family comes first.” He loved and cherished his family to his core. He was a loving and doting dad who raised two daughters by himself. Later in life, he met the love of his life, Leanne. From there they became a blended family and he was the proud father of five children and eight grandchildren. His happiest moments were when he spent time with his wife and family. He was an extremely generous person. He always tried to help people as much as he possibly could. He wanted to make sure he left a positive impact in this world. He accomplished this mission in many ways and has changed many lives for the better. He regularly donated to different organizations and nonprofits for women and children. Rocco was a forensic meteorologist and affected so many clients with his accurate weather forecast and recreations of storm related events to help all who needed him professionally and for those who relied on his expertise. He was a key figure in the development and testing of the Nexrad Radar System used by the military. He provided weather to the White House, NASA, the Miami Dolphins and The Formula One Racing in the US. He was also a consultant in the International Climate Change Forum in Europe. He had many awards and accolades during his time in the Air Force and was known to be a true expert in his field. The last of the dinosaurs. He is forever hugely missed and loved.
