Ricardo “Ricky” Hurwitz was 18 when he earned his wings. He had just graduated high school and wanted to be a nurse. He was a beautiful old soul, athlete, animal whisperer, dancer, lover and he had a strong relationship with God. He lived life to its fullest and treated others with a kind and open heart. He made the choice to be a donor and through his selfless gift he saved 5 lives ages 16-69, through organ donation, restored sight to two, and healed over 20 others with his gift of tissue.

Ricky is a blessing; and a gift to us – we will honor him until we meet again.
